“Businesses that Take Good Care of Employees” rankings announced

NDO – Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) in collaboration with Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) announced “Businesses that Take Good Care of Employees” rankings at a press conference in Hanoi on November 21.

The rankings aim to honour the businesses’ efforts in creating an effective working environment for their employees, ensuring the quality of life of their employees and promoting their capacity and working spirit.

According to VGCL Vice Chairman Mai Duc Chinh, who is the Chairman of the board of the rankings in 2017, said that the “Businesses that Take Good Care of Employees” rankings, launched by VGCL since 2014, created a wide-range movement in order to encourage businesses in taking better care of employees, for the development of businesses and communities. It is also the guideline of the Party and Government in Resolution 20 and 35/NQ-CP on creating the most favorable conditions for enterprises and enhancing national competitiveness in general and enterprises’ competitiveness in particular in a globalized environment.

After three years of organising, the program has ranked more than 200 enterprises, presenting credits to 88 enterprises. In addition, the organising board offering the “Businesses that Take Good Care of Employees” Award to 15 enterprises, and the Prime Minister's certificates of merit to 13 enterprises.

This year’s event will honour 74 outstanding businesses that take considerable care of their employees at a ceremony held at 9.30 am in Hanoi on November 29. The awards ceremony will broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
