Prudential Vietnam, Maritime Bank boost co-operation

Nhan Dan – The Prudential Vietnam Insurance Company (Prudential Vietnam) and Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Maritime Bank) signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday promoting bancassurance services through the bank’s branches and transaction offices across the country.

The signing ceremony was attended by UK Foreign Office Minister for Asia Pacific, Jeremy Browne, who is on an official visit to Vietnam, and Douglas Barnes, UK Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, the two institutions will work together to distribute Prudential Vietnam’s life insurance products and services to Maritime Bank customers through Prudential’s consulting specialists or the bank’s staff at its branches nationwide.

Prudential is a leader in developing bancassurance services in Vietnam. In addition to the Maritime Bank, Prudential Vietnam has also expanded co-operation with other domestic and international banks such as Standard Chartered, Citi, Techcombank, MB, Agribank and An Binh.
