Vietinbank provides automatic toll services

Nhan Dan – Vietinbank launched automatic toll collection services at nine stations across the country on July 31.
Stations collecting tolls include South Cau Gie (Ha Nam), Luong Met (Lang Son), Cau Binh (Hai Duong), Phu Bai (Thua Thien-Hue), North Hai Van Tunnel (Da Nang), Cau Gianh (Quang Binh), Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat airports and T1 station on National Highway 51 in Dong Nai. Tolls will be assessed based on the distance travelled and automatically debited from drivers’ bank accounts. The service is expected to ease traffic congestion and simplify procedures at toll stations on major highways, allowing drivers to pass through stations without stopping. Earlier in 2010, the service was featured at Can Tho Bridge, Phu My Bridge and Ninh An toll stations.
