NDO - The Panam Anim Animation Film Festival, introducing 12 selected films, has been organised in Vietnam for the first time, taking place from October 4 to 9.

The movies are being screened at BHD Bitexco ICON 68, 2 Hai Trieu, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City from 7.30 pm to 9 pm, October 4. They will continue to be screened at BHD Bitexco ICON 68, 2 Hai Trieu, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCM City from 3 pm to 4.30 pm on October 7 and at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien, Hanoi from 6.30 pm to 7.45 pm, October 9.

Many award-winning works at the festival have appeared on the Oscars’ nominations list and at other reputable animation film awards across the globe.

The event was organised by L'Espace French Cultural Centre in collaboration with Bonjour Saigon Post Production House.

The Panam Anim Animation Film Festival was established in 2013, in Paris, by Pascal Chinarro – a French film producer.

This is the platform for cinema-major students in France and several other countries.

The festival has been held annually in Paris since 2011, and was then expanded to Shanghai (since 2013) and Bangkok (since 2016).

The high-quality applications received each year have helped Panam Anim to become one of the most prestigious film competitions in France.
