NDO – Vietnamese acrobatic brothers Giang Quoc Co and Giang Quoc Nghiep have set a new world record with their head-balancing act in Rome, Italy, announced the Guinness World Records on December 5 (local time).

Accordingly, the Giang brothers were required to perform a head-to-head balancing act in a studio, walking up and down 10 steps while blindfolded within one minute. The Vietnamese circus artists finished their performance earlier, in just 53.97 seconds.

According to Giang Quoc Co, the performance was recorded exclusively by an Italian television station in mid-November and all information about the performance was kept secret.

The duo said that they would like to present the record to their beloved family members, and to all Vietnamese citizens, particularly Vietnamese circus artists, and fans of Vietnam’s circus at home and abroad.

Quoc Co, 34, and Quoc Nghiep, 29, are currently working in the Ho Chi Minh City Circus Association.

They were both presented with the Meritorious Artist title for their outstanding contributions to the development of Vietnam’s circus.

In December 2016, the brothers previously set a Guinness World Record with their head-to-head balancing act by scaling 90 stairs in 52 seconds on the steps of Girona Cathedral in Spain.

Most recently, they finished in fourth place Britain's Got Talent 2018, where they received a standing ovation from British audiences.
