NDO – A photo exhibition, themed ‘Hanoi’s architecture in the past and the present, along with the capital’s development’, officially opened at the Exhibition House at 45 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi, on July 13.

On display are 132 outstanding photos which were selected from 1,446 works submitted to the sixth Hanoi Arts Photography Festival – 2017.

The exhibit provides visitors with an insight into Hanoi’s architecture, with both traditional and modern beauty from the past and present.

Through the photos, visitors can learn more about the cultural and historical values of architectural works in the capital, including buildings, temples, pagodas, bridges, roads and monuments, as well as the urban landscape created by the people of Hanoi.

The festival’s organising board presented awards to the ten most outstanding photos, including two silver, three bronze and five consolation prizes.

The photo exhibition, co-organised by Vietnam Photographers’ Association and Hanoi Arts Photographers’ Association, will last until July 16.
