International artists join circus gala during Tet

NDO – As many as 50 talented circus performers from Russia, the US, Ukraine and Mongolia, along with domestic ones, will gather at the first international circus gala in Vietnam during the Lunar New Year (Tet).

The event will be held at the Gia Dinh Park Circus (Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City), co-organised by the Southern Arts Theatre and Gia Dinh Park Circus. The gala will open at 8 pm on February 16 (the first day of the Lunar New Year). The performances will be held in the evening, every day until March 18.

The most anticipated artist in the show is a Clown by the name of Rostyslav Biliak, a talented comedian from Russia. Young artist Sattra Laura Nicole Ortega from the US will perform complex movements with thin strips of silk, while artists from Mongolia will display dizzying and spectacular feats of acrobatics.

After it leaves Ho Chi Minh City, the event will be held at the Tien Son Sport Complex in Da Nang, Dolphin Palace in Ha Long city (Quang Ninh province), Vung Tau city (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province) and other northern provinces until April 15.
