NDO - Maps of Vietnam are being displayed at the 2018 International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) in Germany which runs from March 7-11.

The showcase of the maps aims to promote the image of the land and people of Vietnam to international friends, while highlighting the country’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelagos.

Vietnam participates in this year’s event with more than 40 leading travel businesses, introducing their tourism products and services, as well as performing traditional cultural and arts programmes.

Vietnamese pavilions attracted a large number of foreign visitors.

The 2018 ITB features the participation of over 10,000 corporations and enterprises from 189 countries and territories around the world.

The event is considered a useful playground which reflects the overall value of the world’s tourism industry.

It offers an opportunity for tourism enterprises to exchange and expand cooperation as well as seek more partners.
