Vietnamese New Year in Hanoi’s Old Quarter

You are invited to the event “Vietnamese New Year in Hanoi’s Old Quarter,” where you can participate in the following activities:

• Kim Ngan Communal House (42-44 Hang Bac Street): Exhibition of Hang Trong, Kim Hoang, Dong Ho folk paintings.

• Heritage House (87 Ma May Street): Exhibition of photographs of Tet (Vietnamese New Year) in the old days by Institutes of Social Sciences Information, and corner where you can experience how a typical traditional family in Hanoi prepares for Tet.

• The Old Quarter Information Centre (28 Hang Buom Street): calligraphy demonstration, exhibition of folk paintings and traditional craft products.

• The Hanoi Old Quarter Culture Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu Street): Demonstration of pre-Tet preparations in a traditional house of the Northern Delta.
