Colossal Christmas tree made of earthen pots in Nghe An

NDO – A colossal Christmas tree made from 6,000 earthen pots has been set up in the Luu My parish in Tru Son Commune, Do Luong District, Nghe An Province, aiming to promote Tru Son craft village’s traditional production.

The Christmas tree is 25 metres high and 8 metres wide

The parishioners in Luu My parish have contributed 6,000 earthen pots and an estimated 500 sets of coloured lights to decororate the tree.

More than 20 skilled craftsmen and welders in the Luu My parish are making the tree for more than one month. Earthen pots are hooked onto the steel frame.
