NDO – Dazzling displays of fireworks lit up the skies across Vietnam at the stroke of midnight on February 15 (the last day of the last lunar month), as Vietnamese people welcomed in the Lunar New Year 2018 – the Year of the Dog.

Hoan Kiem Lake was among the 31 venues for firework shows on New Year's Eve in Hanoi.

Fireworks dazzled Lao Cai city in the northern Lao Cai province.

People in the southernmost province of Ca Mau greeted the Year of the Dog with glittering fireworks.
