NDO – Hanoi officially launched its first double-decker city tour Hop on - Hop off service on May 30, offering a new option for visitors to enjoy the capital city’s top destinations this summer.

Operated by the Hanoi Transport and Services Corporation (Transerco) in coordination with Anh Viet Hop on - Hop off Vietnam Company, the service aims to diversify tourism services in the capital city.

The red top open buses cover a route of 25 streets with 13 stops, taking visitors to the top 30 local tourist attractions.

The exteriors of the buses are decorated with the famous landmarks of Hanoi, such as the Turtle Tower, One Pillar Pagoda, and Hanoi Flag Tower.

The 13.8 km tour operates from 9am to 5pm daily with a frequency of 30 minutes.

Many tourists and Hanoians register for the first tour on the attractive buses.

It is easy to identify the nicely designed busses on the streets, with their open top allowing tourists an excellent view of the city from above.

Each double-decker bus can accommodate 80 passengers, equipped with modern technology such as GPS, automatic transmission system, and Euro4 emission standard. Its low floor helps its smooth operation and is convenient for elderly, children, or people with disabilities.

It also offers free wifi, USB charging ports, a refrigerator, monitor, and surveillance camera system for passenger safety.

The buses are equipped with an automatic multilingual narration system in Vietnamese, English, Chinese, French, Bahasa, Korean, Japanese, Russian, German, Spanish, and many others languages, providing useful information on Hanoi for different nationalities while on the same journey.

The tour visits top tourist attractions in Hanoi. Visitors can choose to join or stop the tour at any bus stop along the route.

Both tourists and Hanoians enjoy taking pictures on Hanoi's first two-level buses.

This service is very popular in major cities around the world and garnered great attention from the public when it was launched in Hanoi for the first time.

After Da Nang, Hanoi is the second locality in Vietnam to run two-deck buses to serve a city tour service.

There are three levels of tour fare, starting at VND 300,000 for a ticket valid for four hours, VND 450,000 for 24 hours, and VND 650,000 for 48 hours.

Tickets can be booked online and paid for via credit and debit cards or directly purchased at Transerco’s booth at Bo Ho terminal or on the buses. Visitors can find further information at https://hopon-hopoff.vn.
