NDO – Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai asked Dong Da district to facilitate administrative reform work during his working session with the local Party Committee on March 16.
The Politburo member spoke highly of the outstanding outcomes attained by Dong Da district’s Party organisation, authorities and people in 2016 and in the first quarter of 2017, as well as the district’s significant contributions to the municipal budget revenues.
He also requested the district to take measures to address shortcomings, such as the 36 unresolved construction violations, waste yet to be fully collected and the moderate effectiveness of the campaign calling on locals to protect the green, clean and beautiful urban environment.
The municipal leader stressed the need to strongly renovate all-level Party committees’ leadership methods towards deeper insights in the situation of each sector and each locality, while highlighting the significance of cadre planning work.
With a large industrial and service proportion in the economic structure, Dong Da district should regularly discuss and grasp the aspirations and difficulties of local businesses to determine directions, Politburo member Hai said, adding that specific measures need to be taken to help over 6,000 individual business households operating in the locality to become businesses.
He urged the district to be more determined in the acceleration of urban discipline and order.
