PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc commemorates former State and Government leaders

NDO – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited Ho Chi Minh City on February 10 to pay his respects to a number of former State and Government leaders ahead of the Lunar New Year.

At the memorial house to Nguyen Huu Tho, the PM offered incense to the lawyer, who once held senior posts including Chairman of the National Assembly and Vice Chairman of the State Council of a unified Vietnam.

At the family of former Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong, the PM recounted his significant contributions to the country throughout his revolutionary career which spanned more than 80 years.

PM Phuc also offered incense to former Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung, an exemplary leader who was completely devoted to the revolutionary cause.

The same day, the Government leader paid his respects to Vo Van Kiet, the Prime Minister during the 1988-1997 period when Vietnam began to open up its economy to the region and the world.
