NDO - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and head of the PCC’s Communication and Education Commission, Vo Van Thuong, held a working session with Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper in Hanoi on March 8 on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the launch of the paper (March 11).

Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member Thuong described Nhan Dan Newspaper as a “chronicle” of the Vietnamese revolution.

He also spoke highly of the newspaper as a “flag of thoughts” in Vietnam’s revolutionary press as many of its articles deal with important scientific evidence on Party guidelines and the State’s legal policies.

Politburo member Thuong emphasised that since its establishment, thanks to the attention of the Party and State, and the efforts of the newspaper’s staff to overcome all difficulties, Nhan Dan Newspaper has significantly contributed to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation.
