NDO - A delegation from Akahata newspaper, the organ of the Japanese Communist Party, visited Nhan Dan (The People’s) Newspaper, on May 16, to enhance co-operation between the two papers.

The delegation was received by Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Le Quoc Khanh.

At the meeting, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Le Quoc Khanh, briefed the Japanese delegation on the operation of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Nhan Dan Online Newspaper, and Nhan Dan Television, adding that the Russian version of Nhan Dan Online made debut in February 2017, while a Spanish version is scheduled to debut next year.

He also emphasised that the two sides need to cooperate more closely in the exchange of information between the two newspapers. As the mouthpieces of the Communist Party of each country, the close relationship between the two newspapers over the past years has contributed to promoting friendly relations between the two parties and countries, he noted.

For his part, Inoue Ayumi, Head of the Office of the Communist Party of Japan and head of the Akahata Newspaper Office in Vietnam, affirmed that Akahata wished to deepen the time-honoured relationship and promote cooperation between the two newspapers.
The two sides also agreed to enhance the comprehensive co-operation and solidarity between the two media outlets, which are the central news organisations of the Japanese Communist Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
