NDO - A delegation of 15 Japanese students are scheduled to visit Vietnam from March 6 to 14 and take part in a number of friendly judo matches with their Vietnamese counterparts.

The visit is part of the JENESYS programme that promotes exchanges between students of Japan and East Asia.

The friendly judo matches will take place in Hanoi and Nha Trang on March 8 and 12, respectively.

Through training together and competing with each other, the students of the two countries will be able to share their experience and learn about the differences as well as the other side’s strengths.

The programme is designed to deepen the trust and understanding between Vietnam and Japan through the introduction of Japanese politics, culture, history and foreign policies.

Students in Asia and Oceania are also invited to visit Japan as part of the programme.
