Programme funds Truong Sa archipelago scholarships

Nhan Dan – A musical programme entitled ‘Bon mua tinh ca’ (Four seasons of love song) was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on July 7 to raise money to fund scholarships for the children of officials and soldiers stationed on the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago.

Enough was raised at the first show of the periodical programme held by Thanh Nien Media Group Corporation to fund ten scholarships worth VND5 million each.

The programme includes a series of music nights to be held once every three months with separate themes featuring typical love songs by Vietnam well-known musicians Trinh Cong Son, Duong Thu, Duc Huy, Le Quang, Viet Anh, Quoc Bao Huy Tuan, and Minh Nhien, among others.
