PM Phuc presents the first class Labour Order to the U23 Vietnam team.

NDO - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception in Hanoi on January 28 for the Vietnam national U23 squad – the runner-up of the Asian Football Confederation U23 Championship (AFC) in China.

At the meeting, PM Phuc presented the first class Labour Order to the U23 Vietnam team, and third-class Labour Orders to head coach Park Hang-seo, from the Republic of Korea, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai, and goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung for their outstanding efforts and achievements at the regional tournament.

Head coach Park Hang-seo, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai, and goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung receive third-class Labour Orders.

The Government leader highly praised efforts made by the whole team, especially the special role of head coach Park Hang-seo in leading and inspiring confidence to the players.

He said the young players are already champions in the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people.

Also at the event, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam presented certificates of merit to 31 members of the U23 team.

On the same day, a special gala took place at the My Dinh National Stadium to honour the U23 squad.

Captain Xuan Truong expressed his sincere thanks for the warm support from the Party, State, and supporters across the country, saying this was great encouragement for the young players to achieve more in the future.
