NDO – An exhibition entitled ‘Memories of Truong Son’ will open in Hanoi on May 3 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the historical Truong Son trail, which is also known as the Ho Chí Minh Trail (1959-2019).

There will be hundreds of photos, documentaries, and objects on display at the exhibition, which introduce the construction of the trail during the resistance war against the US as well as significant contributions of the Truong Son soldiers to national construction and defence.

With a total displaying space of 300 square metres, the exhibition will also feature the operation and activities of Truong Son – Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association, which groups former Truong Son soldiers, as well as books and publications released by the association.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Ngoc, Director of Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum, although the wartime has gone and the soldier’s foot prints have faded away along the Truong Son trail, the rail is always recorded in the country’s history and people’s memories as a symbol of the bravery, creativity and sacrifice made by Vietnamese people and its army to the fatherland.

The exhibition will take place from May 3 to 31 at Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum, Yen Nghia Street, Ha Dong district, Hanoi.
