NDO – Students at the Hanoi-based High School of Education Sciences took part in a painting contest on repulsing COVID-19 to share their thoughts and ideas about the fight against the epidemic and encourage the spirit front line medical workers.

The contest was launched online to raise students’ awareness of the disease, and to enhance their responsibility in protecting their own health as well as that of their family and society as a whole.

The entries sent vivid and meaningful messages to the community amid the COVID-19 fight rages.

A painting by a 10th grader conveys the message “As the health of a nation's people is perhaps its most valuable asset, let’s fight against COVID-19 to protect our nation’s asset”.

The painting was described by its author as follow: “The images of hands surrounding the virus are those of medical workers who are working together to dispel the disease. Inside the virus features a doctor caring for his patient. Doctors are noble and respected people.

“No matter how complicated the situation will become, there will always be someone caring for you every day,” said the message in an entry by an 11th grader.

Countries around the world unite to fight and ignite against the virus.

An entry rings an alarm that “The beauty and colours of life are being washed away. Let’s take action before it's too late!”
