NDO – The central province of Ha Tinh should take the initiative in adopting teaching and learning methods as well as training officials and teachers about the new textbook programme.

The statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam during his working visit to the Ha Tinh province on November 20.

Addressing the working session, he appreciated the achievements gained by the province in the fields of education and healthcare.

Ha Tinh province has promoted the grassroots-level health care network as well as deploying electronic health records, helping people grasp their health status.

Regarding education, the Deputy PM asked Ha Tinh to create conditions for universities and vocational schools to open branches and training levels that are appropriate to the needs and practices in the locality.

Earlier, Deputy PM Dam visited several schools and medical stations and also attended a ceremony celebrating Vietnamese Teachers’ Day at Ha Tinh University.
