NDO - A delegation of the Prime Minister's Working Group, led by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Trong Thua, held a working session with the People’s Committee of Ha Giang province on December 25 to inspect the locality’s implementation of tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister.

At the session, Ha Giang provincial authorities briefed the working group on the province’s outcomes regarding the realisation of its assigned tasks, achievements in administrative reform, application of information and technology in operation, and improvements in the infrastructure system.

The popularisation of Party and State’s guidelines and policies for ethnic minority groups and those in remote areas, measures to attract investment and improve the business environment, and the acceleration of equitisation and divestment of state capital were also highlighted during the event.

Applauding Ha Giang’s encouraging progress in socio-economic growth, Deputy Minister Thua, who is also deputy head of the working group, asked the local authorities to work out measures to bring its vast potentials and advantages into full play.

He also hailed the province’s significant results in administrative reform as online public service is now available for more than 95% of administrative procedures in the locality.

Greater attention should be attached to protecting forestry and environment, managing natural resources, and resolving people’s complaints and denunciation, he noted.
