NDO – An art programme was held in Lat town, Tan Ky district, the central province of Nghe An, on May 9 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the historical Truong Son Trail, which is also known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail (May 19, 1959-2019).

The programme featured the participation of 400 singers, actors and actresses from the army art troupes and the province.

Entitled ‘Legend of a road’, the programme revealed the glorious milestones of the nation during the resistance war against American imperialism.

The performances also honoured soldiers and youth volunteers who faced numerous dangers and hardships to complete the mission of opening the Ho Chi Minh Trail – a strategic road in the reinforcement for the southern battlefield during the resistance war.

On the occasion, the organising board coordinated with agencies in Nghe An province to remodel the Km No.0 relic of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, offered incense to heroic martyrs at the Tan Ky district Martyrs Cemetery, and presented social houses and gifts to revolutionary contributors in the locality.
