NA Chairwoman meets with representatives from residential areas in Hanoi

NDO – National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim held a meeting at NA House with 100 retired officials and locals of the residential area No. 10 in Vinh Phuc ward, Hanoi’s Ba Dinh District, on May 13.

At the meeting, officials, Party members and locals from the residential area expressed their satisfaction at the national development in various areas, especially Party building work and anti-corruption have recorded positive results, thereby creating trust among the people.

They also praised the effective operation of the NA’s activities, while expressing their wish that the concerned laws passed by the NA would soon come to life. They also suggested the NA and related ministries and agencies continue to pay attention to supporting startup and job creation, while developing information-oriented solutions to prevent bad impacts from social networks.

NA Chairwoman Ngan thanked the delegates for contributing proposals and recommendations for the leaders of the Party and State, as well as the results of the Party and State work, in general, and the NA activities, in particular.

Speaking to the delegates, the top legislator also reported on the country's socio-economic development in 2018 with positive results, creating an important premise for 2019.

She also informed them on major contents at the upcoming 14th NA’s seventh session, stating that the Party, State, NA and authorities at all levels would continue to improve and supplement policies to support national contributors and effectively implement the gratitude movement.

NA Chairwoman Ngan also affirmed that she would recommend that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs; and functional agencies complete mechanisms and policies in youth work, thus creating favourable conditions for young people in startup and promoting their creativity to contribute to the country’s development.

As a member of the residential area No. 10 in Vinh Phuc ward, Ba Dinh district (Hanoi), NA Chairwoman Ngan highly praised local authorities and residents’ efforts in promoting solidarity and the sense of self-awareness in the work of environmental protection, ensuring social order and security and building a cultural and civilised lifestyle.

She promised to join NA deputies to strengthen efforts in implementing their responsibilities and tasks, to make NA activities more efficient, thus meeting the requirements and expectations of voters and people throughout the country.
