NDO - The Mekong River Delta province of Tien Giang should pay much attention to improving investment and its business environment as well as supporting small and medium-sized enterprises and develop cooperatives in the province.

Speaking at the working session, the Deputy PM hailed the efforts made by the local authorities and people to meet the targets in socio-economic and cultural development as well as maintaining security and defence.

He urged the locality to promptly complete the provincial plan until 2030, with a vision to 2035, which will be considered as a basis for its sustainable development in all fields.

Tien Giang should focus on agricultural restructuring in association with building new-style rural areas as well as improve the quality of citizen reception and settlement of petitions and complaints, added Deputy PM Hue.

It is crucial to review and accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital as well as soon complete land clearance for key projects, he said.
