NA Chairwoman extends Tet wishes to soldiers of Dak Lak provincial High Command

NDO – National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan extended her best wishes for a happy Tet to officers and soldiers at the Dak Lak provincial High Command during her visit to the barracks on January 15.

The NA Chairwoman expressed her high appreciation for the achievements made by the provincial High Command over the last year and its contributions to implementing the Party and State’s resolutions and decrees, and Ministry of Defence’s directions.

She asked the force to be on high alert and maintain combat readiness to help build a strong all-people defence and fulfil its assigned tasks.

According to Colonel Le My Danh, Commander of the provincial High Command, in 2019 the provincial armed forces completed its scheduled plans for training, rehearsal, recruitment, and defence diplomacy of the year.

They have also coordinated with functional agencies to fight against plots of sabotage and activities of hostile and reactionary forces, contributing to maintaining the political security and social order.

Over the past year, the unit sent 5,000 officers and soldiers to help local residents reduce poverty and overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters.

Earlier on the same day, the NA Chairwoman paid visit to 92-year-old Le Chi Quyet, former Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak provincial Party Committee.
