Vice President attends Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province

NDO – Authorities in the central province of Nghe An held a ceremony in Vinh city on August 6 and 7 to review its Patriotic Emulation Congress in the 2015-2020 period in the presence of Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinhand more than 520 delegates.

The Vice President lauded the Party Committee, authorities and people of Nghe An for effective implementation of emulation and reward activities as well as its patriotic emulation movements over the past five years.

In particular, the implementation of four emulation movements launched by the Government has contributed to promoting the comprehensive socio-economic development of the province.

Through patriotic emulation movements, many role-models and good examples representing the will, efforts and creative spirit of Nghe An people have been discovered and duplicated, Thinh noted.

According to Permanent Vice Chairman of Nghe Anprovincial People’s Committee Le Hong Vinh, various patriotic emulation movements have been carried out in the province over the past five years, contributing to fulfilling socio-economic development targets, promoting Party building and consolidating the political system.

Many movements have been implemented effectively including “Nghe An enterprises integrate and develop”,“Nghe An joins hands to build new-style rural areas”,“Promoting initiatives and technical innovations”, “Golden Steering Wheel”, “Productivity, quality, efficiency”, and others.

In the next five years, the province will continue to foster its patriotic emulation movements while promoting all resources to successfully implement socio-economic development tasks, Vinh noted.

Earlier on August 6, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinhvisited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged children in Nghia Dan district in addition to visiting several projects invested in by the TH Group in the locality.
