Hanoi National University of Education urged to play key role in educational reform

NDO - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam urged Hanoi National University of Education to push forward with reforms to improve the quality of education and training in the coming time.

Working with the university’s staff on July 31, Deputy PM Dam praised its achievements, especially in developing itself into a model university with various high-quality areas of training, a contingent of excellent, experienced and devoted lecturers, and an increasing numbers of good students.

He asked the university to continue to improve step by step to be on par with other universities regionally and internationally.

The university should be proactive in its outreach to meet the growing demand for human resources for the country’s economic development and international integration, he noted.

Hanoi National University of Education currently has 23 training faculties; two affiliated high schools; two research institutes; one international education and training institute; more than 20 centres for educational science and technology research and transfer.

It has established relationships with 150 universities and international science and technology organisations, including leading universities from Russia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US, France, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands, among others.
