NDO – All 63 provinces across the country have reopened schools for junior and senior high school students after the three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.

The ministry’s statistics show that 97% of junior high school students and 97.6% of senior high school students have returned to school.

The ministry has instructed localities to take measures to ensure appropriate distance between students and conduct medical checkups for students upon the reopening of schools.

9th – 12th graders have been prioritised in their return to school one week earlier than other levels.

Students are to be divided into groups in order to rotate their class attendance and avoid activities with large gatherings of students.

As well as this, students will continue to conduct self-study and online learning at home to ensure the completion of the curriculum before July 15, 2020.
