NDO – An arts exchange themed ‘Voluntary Hearts’ was held in Hanoi on December 25 to honour Vietnamese youth and their contributions to the nation.

In addition to songs and dances, the event featured talks with outstanding former Youth Union officials, who devoted themselves to national liberation, independence and freedom.

Audiences could also listen to leaders of youth movements in mountain and border areas, sea and islands region.

Under the leadership of the Vietnamese Communist Party, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has launched many activities and movements, attracting the huge and positive participation of Vietnamese youth.

They volunteer to go to anywhere and do anything in response to the call from their motherland, embracing every hardship to make significant contributions to the national construction and development.

Their voluntary activities are vivid illustrations of the creativity, enthusiasm and responsibility of Vietnamese youth.

The event, hosted by the Youth Union of Centrally-run Agencies Bloc, sought to educate younger generations about the glorious revolutionary tradition of their predecessors, thus encouraging them to make further contributions to the national development.
