NDO - A meeting gathering leading examples of learning and following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh was held by the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission in Hanoi on May 12.

The meeting was held on the occasion of the five years of implementing the Politburo's Directive No.03 on 'continued acceleration of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example'.

Speaking at the meeting, General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Nguyen The Ky said that over the past ten years since the launch of the movement on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's moral example, many examples of individuals and collectives following the President’s example have been recognised.

At the meeting, delegates met and held talks with many exemplary examples from across the country, who are actively applying Uncle Ho's teachings to various fields of their occupation.

They include, Dam Thi Le working in the Cao Bang province's Police Anti-Drug Force and Nguyen Thi Xuan a nurse who has spent her life caring for leprosy patients.

Delegates also heard the stories of Cao Thi Phu, a former volunteer soldier from Kon Tum province who has organised practical charity activities to help children with disabilities and children in remote areas and Nguyen Trong Thai, a worker from the Ha Lam Coal JSC who has made several initiatives to advance the digging of coal, among others.

These stories are vivid demonstrations of individuals following the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh and helping to inspire people in society.
