Photo exhibitions mark 126th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh

NDO - Two photo exhibitions entitled 'President Ho Chi Minh - Beloved leader of Vietnam' and 'President Ho Chi Minh's morals - Bright example to younger generations' were launched in Ho Chi Minh City on May 17 to mark the 126th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).

The exhibition 'President Ho Chi Minh - Beloved leader of Vietnam' is taking place on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, displaying 78 images on the life and great contributions of President Ho to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation.

The exhibition also highlighted significant achievements of Ho Chi Minh City in the process of studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings.

In the meantime, the exhibition 'President Ho Chi Minh's morals - Bright example to younger generation' on Dong Khoi Street features 98 photos on the ideology and morals of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as the outcomes made by sectors and agencies in the city while learning and following his teachings.

Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Commission for Education and Information Than Thi Thu said that President Ho Chi Minh is a symbol of true patriotism and was the light source guiding the Vietnamese people to great victories and leading the nation to a bright future.

His ideology, style and moral example will always be invaluable assets of the Party and nation, Thu noted.

The exhibitions, which will conclude on May 27, are among a series of activities to mark President Ho's 126th birthday, 105 years since he left Vietnam to seek national salvation and 40 years since Saigon-Gia Dinh was named after President Ho Chi Minh.
