NDO – Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism Department has recently launched an online photo contest entitled ‘Hello Ho Chi Minh City’ in an effort to promote the city’s hospitality sector.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners, whose entries should highlight the natural beauty, cultural diversity, festivals, lifestyle and hospitality of the southern hub and its people.

The photos must have been taken after January 1, 2019 and each entrant can submit no more than seven pictures.

The organising board also encourages contestants to design postcards to advertise the city’s tourist attractions.

Competitors should send their entries to hellohochiminhcity2020@gmail.com before July 10, 2020 with their personal information, the location where the photo was captured, and a 200-word description of their photo.

An awards ceremony honouring the winning entries will be held this August as part of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival.
