NDO – A shooting occurred in a school in Colorado, USA, on May 7, causing at least one 18-year-old student to die with eight others injured, Reuters reported.

Police arrested two perpetrators – Devon Erickson, an 18-year-old male, and a teenager of undisclosed-identity.

According to the initial investigation, the two attackers used handguns to open fire into two classrooms at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) School – a facility that has classes from kindergarten to Grade 12 in the suburb of Denver city.

* On the same day, in France, a gunman kidnapped four people in a pub in Blagnac, a town near Toulouse city. After five hours of siege and negotiations, police arrested the 17-year-old gunman and safely rescued four female hostages. The mayor's office in Blagnac said that there was "no suspicion of a terrorist motive" in the incident.
